Refund Eligibility
Most products sold on Droidsome.com qualify for a full refund if the request is made within 14 days of delivery. This includes:
- Hardware products like earphones, headsets, speakers, microphones, audio interfaces, portable DACs (digital-to-analog converters) etc.
- Payment for software tutorials, customization services, troubleshooting assistance etc.
Any product that is not software-based will need to be returned in new/unused condition with all original packaging and accessories. Refunds are provided once the returned item passes our quality check. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged/defective or materially different from the description.
Items Not Eligible for Refund
The following items do not qualify for refund from Droidsome.com:
- Downloadable software, apps, ebooks or audiobooks. This is because the files are digitally delivered, so refund rights do not apply to downloaded products.
- Items that have been worn, used, damaged or altered in any way. They do not meet the criteria for a refund.
- Products missing original packaging material, accessories, manuals etc. If an item is not returned in original condition, it will impact the refund value.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order. You can reach customer service by email at return @ droidsome.com. Please have your order number ready. We will provide instructions on how to return the product to us.
Refund Processing Time
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to confirm it is in original condition as delivered. If so, we will process your refund within 3-5 business days of receiving the return. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for the shipping costs to return items to us. We recommend sending returns via trackable shipping method and insuring the contents in case of loss or damage. We are unable to refund returned items that become damaged or lost in transit back to our warehouse.
Refund Method
Once approved, refunds can take 5-7 business days to process. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If payment was done via credit card, the refund will go back to the same card. For PayPal purchases, refunds go to the PayPal account. Cash on Delivery payments are reimbursed via online transfer.
Sale items and discounted products are refunded based on the actual amount paid at purchase. The refund does not apply to the listed retail price. In case of partial refunds, deductions are clearly highlighted in the approval email.
Restocking Fees
Droidsome does not charge restocking fees on most item returns. However, for large, bulky, or heavy items, we reserve the right to charge up to a 15% restocking fee to cover the costs of transportation and processing. We will notify you if a restocking fee applies to your return before processing.
Change of Mind Returns
We understand you may change your mind about a purchase. As long as you contact us within 7 days and the product is in original condition, you may return it for a full refund, minus any applicable restocking fees.
FAQs on Refund Policy
How long do I have to request a refund?
Customers can request refunds up to 14 days from the date of delivery of their order. Requests made after the 14-day window will not be eligible.
Are shipping charges also refunded?
Yes, the original outbound shipping cost will be refunded along with the product cost. However, the return shipping fee must be covered by the customer unless the item is found defective.
Can I get a refund for electronic media like software files?
No, downloadable digital products are non-refundable since the files are electronically sent to the customer instantly upon purchase. There is no way for the merchant to take the product back.
What happens if an accessory or part is missing when I return a product?
The refund amount will be reduced based on the value of the missing/damaged item. Products must be returned in original condition with all components intact to qualify for a full refund.
Who pays for return shipping when I request a refund?
The customer is responsible for bearing return shipping charges unless the product received is defective, damaged or materially inaccurate as per the description. In such exceptional cases, Droidsome.com will reimburse return shipping costs upon verification.
What if my item gets lost or damaged on the way back?
We recommend insuring your return package in case of loss or damage. We cannot issue a refund for items damaged or lost in transit back to us.
How do I track my return/refund status?
